Here the clients, who own a vineyard in New Zealand, were remodelling a 1950s house where the open-plan kitchen merges with a sitting and dining area.
Our bespoke solution was a sleek, contemporary kitchen, with slip-matched rosewood veneers beautifully set off by quartzite worktops, painted cabinetry, and an oiled-oak floor. Because the owners are taller than average, the cabinets are too.
The island doubles as a place to hold wine tastings and the all-important wine cellar is designed with equal attention to detail.
